Manager, HMS Enrollment Department  (Enrollment)SHPS, Inc.

This job reports to the Director of Clinical Operations

Relocation is not provided and travel is required occasionally.

This is a Full-Time position, working 1st Shift.

Job Skills/Requirements
Manages all aspects of the HMS Enrollment Department Call Center including:
Accountability to client performance guarantees
Human resources
Operational standards of excellence
Performance / productivity metrics
Technology management
Relationship with upstream / downstream internal business partners
external clients and vendors
Engages direct reports in ownership of organizational goals, department delivery standards and individual performance metrics. Utilizes quantitative and qualitative information to ensure all department associates are directly contributing to goals. Routine reporting accountability to Senior Leadership regarding metrics and corrective plans if necessary.
Takes ownership of department goals & staff contributions related to enrolling members in programs.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the services and product lines SHPS offers.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the clients SHPS serve, their expectations and performance guarantees, will assist in client relations as needed.
Produces reviews and responds to daily, weekly & monthly reports reflecting productivity and quality metrics.
Well versed in SHPS enrollment phone techniques to support staff and ensure standardized and optimal use of principles of influence methodologies and superior customer service practices.
Manages all aspects of the enrollment call center manual and automated call campaigns to service excellence standards.
Coaches direct reports via ad hoc and 1 on 1 encounters, provides clear work assignments and directs those assignments on a real time basis.
Provides routine feedback to direct reports, creates and conveys performance appraisals, rewards and disciplines as necessary.
Manage associate turnover to less than or equal to 10%.
Recognizes and promptly addresses opportunities for problem / grievance resolution.
Conducts regularly scheduled team meetings that provide an opportunity for staff to learn more about the state of the organization, how their work is important to others, team building, etc.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures in relation to the delivery of the product and articulates the same to staff.
Carries out front line managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirement:
At least 5 years of call center manager experience.
Leadership / management experience in a call center, sales, customer service or healthcare environment.
Creating operational standards of excellence and metrics to support those goals.
Demonstrated problem solving skills; creatively works toward solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to promote harmony with a variety of employees.
Ability to manage multiple projects to successful and timely completion.
Ability to give feedback.
Computer literacy, accustomed to using and depending on a computer to do job.
Proficient in Microsoft e-mail, calendar, Word and Excel.
Able to quickly learn proprietary computer applications.
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to automated dialer and call / quality monitoring technology (e.g. NICE, etc).
Outbound call center experience.
Product / services experience.
Exposure to healthcare environment (medical terminology, clinical licensing / certifications)
Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.
Must be able to successfully complete any required pre-employment testing.
Additional Information/Benefits
All benefits are effective on the 29th day of employment with the exception of tuition reimbursement, which is effective after 90 days of employment.
